Where are we missing the bus on the journey to Net Zero?
Despite decades of recognizing Energy Efficiency (EE) as the “First Fuel,” it still remains under-prioritized in corporate sustainability strategies. While renewables are important, Net Zero cannot be achieved without aggressively adopting EE, which offers faster payback, lower investment, and immediate carbon and cost reductions. With technologies like high-efficiency motors, process optimization, and electrification of thermal loads, EE can deliver up to 20% energy savings with minimal capital. Missing EE today means missing the Net Zero bus—ignorance is not bliss anymore.
